Mahatma Gandhi Technology Park

October 7, 2025

The 570-hectare township is primarily developed as an Information & Bio technology park, complemented by Commercial, University, and Sports facilities. The design of the township takes into consideration the use of private cars as well as promotes bicycle and pedestrian routes. These routes are seamlessly integrated to create a comprehensive network of interconnected public open spaces.

Around 20% of the site area, spanning 570 acres, is dedicated to a wooded park and a golf course. The physical layout of the project is influenced by the natural topography and site profile. Inspired by the prevalent art form of masks in Côte d’Ivoire, the masterplan incorporates urban landscape elements such as roads, built forms, and a green corridor. This gives rise to a tribal mask shape in the southwest wing and a headgear shape in the northeast wing. Across the lagoon, a bridge connects the headgear to the mask, completing the artistic representation.
